About Me / Us

I’m Katie, owner of Smelly Nelly’s.  I have 3 Lhasa Apsos (Walter, Nelly & Rowan), an Imperial Shi Tzu (Rupert) and a Shi Tzu (Mindy) I decided to do a short course with the intention of grooming my own dogs and was hooked. Realising I loved dog grooming here I am qualified, 5 years on and loving what I do.

I say “Us” ’cause without my critters I would never have taken the plunge to groom and obviously “Smelly Nelly’s” came from my only little girl of the bunch (Nelly)’s nickname. It just seemed perfect!
